      Clarinell Hahn, age 86, passed from this life on February 20, 2013. She was born on January 26, 1926 in Midway, Texas, to Joe and Emma (Koehler) Rehak.

       

      She is survived by three sons: C.J. and wife Betty of Ezzell, Texas, Carl Ray and wife Susan, Laguna Beach, California, and Joel Craig and wife Judy of San Antonio, Texas, as well as by a step-son Robert Hahn and wife Dale of Sweeney, Texas, and by a sister Geralene Schulte and husband V.J. (Totty) of Victoria, Texas. Additionally, she was blessed by 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

       

      Mrs. Hahn was predeceased by one grandson, Cole Carson St. Clair, two husbands, and her parents.

       

      Clarinell graduated from Yoakum High School in 1944. She worked for many years in the leather industry in Yoakum.

       

      She was very active in churches wherever she lived - the Hochheim Baptist Church, the Tree of Life Church and the Community Christian Church both of New Braunfels. Clarinell was also an active member of the New Braunfels Garden Club and Extension Homemakers of Comal County.

       

      Visitation is 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM on Friday February 22, 2013 at Doeppenschmidt Funeral Home in New Braunfels, TX. Funeral Service is Saturday 10:00 AM February 23, 2013 at Doeppenschmidt Funeral Home with interment to follow at County Line Cemetery in Yoakum, TX at 2:00 PM.

       

      In lieu of flowers, donations are requested in memory of Clarinell Hahn to Jesus Hobbs House of Hope (an orphanage in Nairobi, Kenya) and may be made online at www.alamocitymercyfoundation.org or mailed to 200 Seford, San Antonio, Texas, 78209.

       

      Pallbearers are Dale Browne, Baron Hahn, Brandon Lewis, Bobby Luckel, Danny Luckel, David Simon, Joel St. Clair, and Kent St. Clair.
