Funeral services for Mrs. Anton (Rosie) Tupa, 67, of El Campo were held there Thursday morning, Dec. 26, at Triska Funeral Home and St. Philip’s Catholic, with Father Petru officiating.
Burial was in the El Campo Catholic Cemetery.
Mrs. Tupa died Monday, Dec. 23, in Nightingale Hospital, El Campo.
Born at Dubina, she was a daughter of Joseph and Lucy Herzik. She was a member of St. Philip’s Church and the Dubina KJZT.
Surviving are her husband, Anton Tupa Sr. of El Campo; two sons, Anton Jr. and Benny Ray, both of El Campo; three daughters, Mrs. Victor (Frances) Buzek of Hillje, Misses Dorothy and Mary Ann Tupa of El Campo; eight grandchildren; five brothers, Lewis and Emil Herzik of Schulenburg, Joe Herzik of El Campo, John Herzik of Alvin and Ray Herzik of Weimar; and five sisters, Mrs. Charles (Lucy) Janecka and Mrs. Jim (Marcella) Korenek of Dubina, Mrs. Cyril (Annie) Mican of Rosenberg, Mrs. John (Lillie) Hoelscher of Garwood and Mrs. Alfons (Sophie) Jurica of El Campo.
