      Funeral services for Oscar Tannenbaum, 63, a leading Greenville merchant, were held Tuesday morning in Sparkman's Funeral Chapel.  Burial was in Shearith Israel Cemetery in Dallas.

       

      Mr. Tanebaum  died Sunday in Greenville.  He was born in Czechoslovakia and came to the United States about 50 years ago.  He moved to Greenville in 1935 from Hillsboro, where he has been in the dry good business.  He also had business interests in Longview and Paris.

       

      For several years he had been a director of the Citizens National Bank in Greenville and had served as a director of banks at Point and Ladonia.

       

      Survivors: Wife; a daughter, Mrs. Milton Ellish of Dallas, and a sister, Mrs. Rose Goldfinger of Farmersville.
