Services for Mary Mildred Crenshaw Turek, 75, of Bryan are set for 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bryan. Monsignor John McCaffrey of St. Joseph Catholic Church will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday and from 8 to 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan. A rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Turek died Saturday in Sherwood Nursing Home. She was born in Brazos County and was a lifelong resident of Bryan. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, where she was in the Altar Society and the K.J.S.T. She worked for St. Joseph Catholic School for 17 years as a bookkeeper and secretary.
Survivors include her husband, Albert L. Turek of Bryan; three sons and daughters-in-law, David and Linda Turek of Kurten, Morris “Randy” and Joyce Turek of Bryan and Daniel and Hilda Turek of Austin; a daughter, Shelly Turek of Bryan; a brother and sister-in-law, Aubrey and Mary Crenshaw of Spurger, Texas; a sister and brother-in-law, Ruth and Henry Allen of Peach Creek, Texas; and five grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the St. Joseph Catholic Church Building Fund.
