obit: Camilla Lucas Tydlacka
Camilla Lucas Tydlacka was born on July 6, 1941 in Falkenfels, Germany to Georg and Katarina Lucas. At the end of her 70 year journey she joined other loved ones in Heaven on October 2,, 2011 at home in the comfort of her husband and children.
Camilla married the love of her life Vincent H. Tydlacka Sr. May 4, 1961. Celebrating 50 years of marriage this year, Camilla and her husband shared a special bond for the love of all animals.
She leaves behind her husband, Vincent H. Tydlacka Sr. of Mont Belvieu, Texas. Two Children: daughter, Corina Flinn and husband Bob. Their children Jason Nielsen, Robbyn Flinn and Joey Flinn of Highlands, Texas. Son Vincent H. Tydlacka Jr. and wife Bridgette and their children Taylor and Bailey Tydlacka of Baytown, Texas.
A friendly face at Texas State Optical for over 30 years, Camilla is well known and respected in the community. Treating every patient with kindness she made many lifelong friends.
Camilla enjoyed gardening, spending time at the lake house, traveling and being with her 5 grandchildren as well as her 3 great grandchildren. Brenden, Ryder and Ryleigh.
Camilla is also survived by her brother, Manfred Lucas of Germany; brother and sister-in-law Lonnie Buchanan and wife Sandra; sister in law, Sharon Buchanan and family of Highlands. Brother-in-law, Paul Morefield and wife Barbara and family of Missouri. Edgar and Evelyn Wotipka and family. The late Benny Wotipka and wife Kathryn and family. The late Ed Wotipka and wife Nina and family all of Highlands. Adolph tydlacka and Barnett. And the Reynolds family of Kinard. Many cousins in Germany. Numerous nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews. Camilla also leaves behind her loving pets Tiger, Girl, Cookie and Smokie.
A very special thank you to Silvia Jacobs and Ann Stiles for their devotion and loving care. To Suzy, Debbie and Mary, our ladies of hospice for their guidance through this very emotional time in our lives.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, October 5 , 2011 from 5-7pm at Sterling-White. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 6, 2011 at 10am at Sterling-White Funeral Home with Rev. Mary Lewis officiating.
Serving as pallbearers will be Lonnie Buchanan, Jason Nielsen, Joey Flinn, Taylor Tydlacka, Greg Wotipka and Lawrence Buchanan.
She is preceded in death by her parents, mother-in-law Lillie Buchanan and grandson Mathew Flinn.
