obit: Wilmont G. Syptak
Wilmont G. Syptak , 82, beloved husband, father, and grandfather passed away on September 2, 2012.
He was born on February 27, 1930 just outside of Bellville, Texas. He proudly served his country during the Korean Conflict. He was assigned to the 2nd Division 23rd Reg-L-Company and was at Heartbreak Ridge in October 1951. He retired in 1990 from the U.S.Postal Service after 33 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his parents Charlie and Annie Syptak, four brothers and one sister.
He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years Cecelia; sons, Ronnie Syptak and wife, Annette, Donnie Syptak and wife, Jessica; five grandchildren: Jeff, Erica, Evan, Miles and Matthew. He was affectionately known as "Uncle Sonny" to all his nieces and nephews. We will always love you and miss you dearly.
A visitation will be held at Woodlawn Funeral Home Wednesday, September 5, 2012 from 7 to 9 PM. A funeral services will be held Thursday, September 6, 2012 at 10:00 A M in the funeral home chapel, with interment to follow in Woodlawn Garden of Memories.
