      A Funeral Mass for Willie E. Sbrusch, 96, long-time resident of Beasley, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 12, 2010 at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Beasley with Fr. Eric Pitre and Fr. Henry Rachunek officiating. Interment will follow at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Cemetery in Beasley.

      Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m., Friday, June 11, 2010 in the Chapel of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg.

      Willie was born July 28, 1913 to Julia and Charles Sbrusch, Sr. in Praha, Texas. He passed away June 9, 2010 at OakBend Medical Center in Richmond, Texas.

      Willie was married to Georgia Chudej Sbrusch at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Beasley on October 26, 1935. They enjoyed 73 years of married life, living most of those years on their family farm in Beasley. Georgia preceded Willie in death in January of 2009.

      A life-long famer in Beasley, Willie raised cotton, corn, milo and cattle. He was also the owner and operator of Fort Bend Tractor and Implement Company first in Beasley and then on Bamore in Rosenberg. He also worked for six years at WKM in Missouri City.

      Willie is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Julia (Kubecka) Sbrusch, Sr.; brothers, Charlie Sbrusch, Jr., Frank Sbrusch, Sr., Jimmy Sbrusch and Louis Sbrusch; one sister, Lillie Kainer; sisters-in-law, Emma Sykora, Willie Mae Pruess, Henrietta Dobesh, Edith Webb and Sylvia Matheaus; and brother-in-law, Julius Chudej.

      He is survived by son, Dennis Sbrusch and wife, Beverly of Beasley; daughter, Deanne Fagert and husband, Richard of Sealy; grandchildren, Bill Fagert and fiancé, Karen Wilson, Erin and Frank Moore, Amy Sbrusch, and Matt and Lacey Sbrusch; great-grandchildren, Hayley Fagert, Katie Fagert, Chaplin Moore and Dylan Johnston; brother, Bennie Sbrusch and wife, Heather of Rosenberg, sister-in-law, Irene Raska; along with other family and friends.
