Julia Krenek Satsky was actually born in the Waller area of Waller County. I found her baptismal record in Bryan, Texas. Her parents moved to Hallettsville where the Kahanek family had lived. I am kin to Julia through our Kreneks. She was a great help to me in my research and when I was writing The Church of the Sparrows.
