      Florence A. Mlcak Obituary

       

      Florence A. Mlcak, 80, of Houston, TX entered into eternal rest on Thursday, December 6, 2012.

       

      Florence was born on July 12, 1932 in Mixville, Texas to John and Lillie Mlcak. She was raised on a farm in Mixville and graduated from Sealy High School in 1950. She furthered her education by attending business and cosmetology schools in Houston.

       

      On June 27, 1953, she married Fred A. Mlcak at St. Theresa’s Catholic Church in Houston, Texas. They started a tractor business a few years later and owned and operated the business for many years. She continued to run the tractor business even after Fred’s death until she retired in 1997.

       

      She was a member of St. Jerome Catholic Church in Houston, the Sealy chapter KJZT, the St. Jerome Altar Society and the SPJST Lodge No. 88.

       

      She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Lillie Mlcak, her husband, Fred Mlcak and an infant son.

       

      She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Cindy Mlcak of Houston; daughter and son-in-law, Jeanne and Larry Netardus of Houston; brothers and sister-in-laws, Dennis and Edith Mlcak of Frydek, Clem and Bina Mlcak of Houston, Johnny and Elaine Mlcak of Houston and numerous nieces and nephews.

       

      Visitation on Monday, Dec 10 from 5pm until 8pm at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Frydek. A wake service and KJZT Rosary at 7pm.  Funeral services on Tuesday, Dec. 11 at 12 noon from St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Frydek. Rev. Thuy Quang Nguyen celebrated the funeral mass and rite of committal. Interment was in the St. Mary’s Catholic Church cemetery.

       

      Pallbearers were: Kenneth Mlcak, Melvin Mlcak, Wes Mlcak, Ronnie Mlcak, Michael Rossi and Troy Weirich.

       

      Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Knesek Funeral Home in Sealy.
