obit: Frank A. Sliva
LOTT, Falls Co., Texas, June 19.-- Frank A. Sliva, 62, pioneer merchant of Lott, died suddenly at the family residence.
Mr. Sliva was born in Silesia, Austria-Hungary, Sept. 21, 1865, and when 15 years old landed in America at Galveston with his five sisters and two brothers, locating at Sealy, where he grew to manhood.
In 1886 he married Miss Minnie Braden of Falls County, to which union were born six children, four boys and two girls, all of whom survive, together with one sister, Mrs. Motloch of Granger.
In November, 1904, he moved to Lott and has conducted a successful business here since.
Funeral services were held from Sacred Heart Church Sunday afternoon and burial was in Holy Cross Cemetery in Lott.
