obit: Ethel S. Quitta Stalinsky
Ethel S. Stalinsky, 97, passed away on Sunday, January 1, 2012 at her residence in Houston, Texas. She was born on June 6, 1914 in Waelder, Texas to Joseph and Albina Quitta.
She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-two years, Adolph V. Stalinsky, and by her son James Patrick Stalinsky.
She is survived by her nine children, Alex J. (Patricia) Stalinsky, Virginia (Don) Peters, Kenneth (Cheryl) Stalinsky, Bernadette Williams, Patricia Ringgold, Tim (Vickie) Stalinsky, Donald (Brenda) Stalinsky, Gloria (Ron) Artigue, and Dianna (Gary) Kocurek. She is also survived by nineteen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Stalinsky was a member of Holy Ghost Catholic Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. Her simplicity, her inner strength and her loving manner touched the lives of everyone around her and she will be missed deeply.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 3, 2012 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary from 5:00 to 5:30 p.m. at Advantage Funeral Home, 7010 Chetwood Dr., Houston, Texas 77081. A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, 6921 Chetwood Dr., Houston, TX 77081. Interment will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery, 6900 Lawndale St., Houston, TX 77023.
