ALVIN EMIL SLESS
GANADO - Alvin Emil Sless, 84, of Ganado, passed away on Friday Sept. 28, 2012. Born Nov. 19, 1927 in Ganado to the late Emil and Libbie Skarpa Sless. Alvin was retired from Alcoa after 35 years of services. Alvin also served our country during WWII in the U.S.Army. Alvin was a long time member of the First United Methodist Church in Ganado.
Alvin is survived by two daughters; Shirley (husband Walt ) Elliott and Kathy (husband Richard ) Chase, Grandchildren, Wendy (Brad ) Freeman, Wesley (Jessica) Miller, Amanda Chase and Brian Chase., and Great-Grandchildren, Kailea and Kirsten Freeman and Casen Miller.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Georgia; and sister, Evelyn Kraatz.
Visitation will be Sunday Sept.30, 2012, from 12 noon to the service at 2:30 pm at the First United Methodist Church in Ganado, with Rev. Dale White officiating. Interment will be in the Ganado Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be, Wesley Miller, Brian Chase, Brad Freeman, Leroy, Dennis and Larry Kraatz.
