Mr. Jos. S. Rypple, well known merchant of this city, received word last week end that his sister, Mrs. Frances Nachlinger, widow of the late Mr. Frank Nachlinger, had died at her home in Rosenberg, after an illness extending over two years.  During this period of time she underwent a severe operation, one of her lower limbs being removed in an effort to check the ravages of disease, but it was of no avail.

The remains were taken to Moulton, her former home, for burial Friday morning.  Here the funeral cortege was joined by the families of Messrs. J. S. Rypple, Will Holub and E. F. Dittrich.  The funeral took place at Moulton Friday afternoon.

Mrs. Nachlinger was about 65 (?) years of age, a native of the Moulton section, lived there and at Waelder for some time before locating at Rosenberg.  Her husband preceded her in death a number of years ago.

Mrs. Nachlinger was a splendid, good woman, highly regarded by everyone who knew her.  She suffered greatly in the last years of her life, but bore up patiently and with resignation through it all.

Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to her bereaved ones.
