      REPKA Ingleside, Texas Faith Lorene Repka, 55, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, January 18, 2009 at her residence. She was born July 1, 1953 to Joe and Alean Schanen Majek in Corpus Christi, Texas.

       

      Faith worked for the Diocese of Corpus Christ for 35 years, being the Religious Education Coordinator for Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church for the past 18 years. She was a member of the Beta Sigma PHI Xi Omega Xi Sorority.

       

      She was preceded in death by her father, Joe Majek. She is survived by her husband, Stanley Repka of Ingleside, Texas, 3 sons, Chris (Dee) Repka of Houston, Martin (Candi) Repka of Portland and Trey (Angela) Repka of Austin, her mother,. Alean Majek of Ingleside, 3 brothers, Joseph (Rene) Majek of Ingleside, Mark (Diane) Majek and Jason Majek, both of Austin, 3 sisters, Monica (John) Frederick of Pearsall, Michele (Alan) Rodriguez and Amy (Marcus) Pina, both of Ingleside, 9 grandchildren and one on the way, Kyly, Ryan, Devyn, Ayden, Laurel, Emma, Gracelyn, Al;yssa, Alex and John Paul, numerous nieces and nephews and her 4 godchildren, Liam, Shannon, Jennah and Brennah of Minot, N.D.

       

      Visitation will began at 4:30 p.m., Tuesday, January 20, 2009, with an all night vigil at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church, Ingleside, with Holy Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 21, 2009 at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church. Interment will follow at San Patricio Memorial Gardens, Portland, Texas. Serving as pallbearers are Chris Repka, Martin Repka, Trey Repka, Tony Repka, Joseph Majek, Mark Majek, Jason Majek and Ernest Trevino. Serving as honorary pallbearers are Bernie Repka, Danny Repka, Alan Rodriguez and G. T. Matthews. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to M. D. Anderson Cancer Center, P. O. Box 4486, Houston, Texas, 77210-4486 or Christus Spohn Cancer Center, 1415 Santa Fe, Corpus Christi, Texas 78404.
