Emilie C. Yankow of Fayetteville died at the home of Walter H. Meyer Oct. 23.
Born in the Schoenau community Dec. 11, 1887, she was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Tobey Dockal. She was reared in this area and attended Schoenau public schools.
On Nov. 19, 1907 she married Willie C. Wunderlich. He died Jan. 31, 1925. Sixteen years later, Dec. 16, 1941, she married John Yankow and he preceded her in death July 16, 1963. She was a member of Jehovah Witness.
Funeral services were held at Pete E. Etlinger Funeral Home in Bellville Oct. 24, and burial was in Grace Memorial Park Cemetery at Alta Loma. A. H. Maxedon of Brenham held the services.
Pallbearers were grandsons, Vernon Bundick, Robert Bundick, Travis Meyer, Ferdinan Meyer Jr., Charles Wilkerson and Charles Ray Wilkerson.
Pete E. Etlinger Funeral Home of Bellville was in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include daughters, Mrs. Ferdinan (Lillie) Meyer of Columbus, Mrs. Walter (Ruby) Meyer of Fayetteville, Mrs. Viola Bundick of Fayetteville, Mrs. Emma Smith of Hitchcock; one son, Terry H. Wunderlich of Galveston; sister, Annie Schmid of Galveston; 4 brothers, Wilkerson Dockal and Neal Dockal of Galveston, Jesse Dockal of Brenham and Franklin Dockal of Shelby.
