ADELA LEHNERT HOLIK
YOAKUM - Adela Lehnert Holik, age 93, passed away on Saturday, October 6, 2012.
She was born on May 10, 1919 in Lavaca County to Frank and Ida Hohman Lehnert, Sr. She was involved with the Hospital Pink Ladies, member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Lutheran Church Women and Golden Nuggets.
Survivors: daughter, Tina Eggemeyer; grandsons, Kenneth Eggemeyer, Jr. and Jason Eggemeyer; great-grandsons, McCannon and Jaxson Eggemeyer; nieces, Charlene Kloesel, Marlene Boone, Kathleen Holik, Carol Clinkscales, Nancy Schiller, Shannon Zabransky, Beatrice Laake and Patricia Musselman; nephews, David Holik, Larry Lehnert, Edgar Lehnert, Jr. and Victor Lehnert.
Preceded in death by: parents; husband Alfred Holik; brothers, Frank Lehnert, Jr., Edgar Lehnert, Sr., Clarence Lehnert and Leroy Lehnert; nephew, Lester Lehnert.
Family visitation on Tuesday from 6 p.m. till 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral service on Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Holy Cross Lutheran Church with Rev. Jonathan Mielke officiating. Entombment at Restland Mausoleum.
Pallbearers: Jason Eggemeyer, Kenny Eggemeyer, Jr., Emil Kloesel, Larry Lehnert, David Holik and Tom Clinkscales. Honorary Pallbearers: great-grandsons, McCannon and Jaxson Eggemeyer, Hospital Pink Ladies, Rosalie Harabis, Aileen Boening, Robert and Josephine Janak and Travis Boone.
