(06/28/2003) Kenneth J. Mogonye, 60, passed away peacefully in his sleep on the anniversary of his marriage, June 26, 2003.

He is survived by Dolly, his wife of 21 years. Kenneth, was best known for his talent as a wood craftsman. From building homes to carving walking canes and lots in between, Kenneth has shared these ``prizes'' with everyone over the years. His love for picking up treasures, especially rocks, which he carved, left a unique legacy. Kenneth will always be remembered for his gentleness, his ability to make friends, his smile, and his passion for life.

Survivors include his wife, Dolly; Lawrence Allman and wife, Neva along with children, Doug, Ashley, and David Allman; Kenneth's children, Kevin and Jennifer Mogonye, Shawn Mogonye, Shana and Jeff Garrett their children; siblings, Jerry Mogonye, Karen and Randy Williams; Kenneth's mother, Lillian Mogonye.

My heartfelt thank you to all of the staff on the Special Services Unit A & B at the Austin State Hospital for the kindness, understanding and care given to Kenneth during the past three weeks.
