Julia E. Muzny September 17, 1908 – August 17, 2003
Julia E. Muzny, 94, of Bryan passed away at The Sheridan on Anderson in College Station.
Mrs. Muzny was born in Dime Box, Texas on September 17, 1908 and had lived in the Brazos Valley most of her life.
Funeral Services for Julia E. Muzny will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bryan with Reverend Monsignor John McCaffrey officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan, with a rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m.
Mrs. Muzny was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church where she had also worked. She had been a member of the Sons of Herman Lodge 99, K.J.Z.T., and the American Legion Auxiliary #159. Mrs. Muzny had retired from the Texas A&M University System.
Julia was survived by her daughter in law, Patricia Muzny of College Station; four grandchildren, Vicki & Roland Ruffino of Bryan, Tim & JoAnn Muzny of Bryan, Tina Vanderwater of Houston, and Brian Muzny of Jakarta, Indonesia; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was also preceded in death by her husband Walter Muzny and her son Milton Muzny.
