      EL CAMPO -- Mrs. Julia A. Halling, 79, of 716 Grace St., died Wednesday in an El Campo rest home.

       

      A resident of Victoria for 75 years, Mrs. Halling was born Sept. 18, 1891, in Texas.  She was a member of First United Methodist Church.

       

      Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Friday at Wheeler Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Homer Weimer, pastor of First United Methodist Church, officiating.  Burial will be in Lutheran Cemetery.

       

      Surviving are her husband, Arthur Halling of El Campo; a daughter, Mrs. Ethlyn Raney of Lake Jackson; a son, Eldon Halling of Houston; three sisters, Mrs. Agnes Marek of El Campo, Mrs. Angelina Sugarek of Houston and Mrs. Mary Schiller of Miles, Tex.; two brothers, Edward Motal and Anton Motal of El Campo; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
