Ann R. Ruscher, age 85, died March 24, 2012 in Schulenburg.
She was born on March 28, 1926 in La Grange, Tx to Charles and Anna Muras.
She was preceded in death by 6 brothers, Stanley, Charles, Theodore, Frank, Anton and Lad Muras and 3 sisters, Henrietta Adamcik, Frances Demel and Elizabeth Jolly. Also preceeding her in death were husband R. D. Richardson and her second husband Louis Charles Ruscher, two grandsons, James R. Richardson and Roy Richardson and 1 granddaughter, Sarah Romero.
She is survived by sons Bill Richardson of Spring, Tx, Michael and Deborah Richardson of Jacksonville, Tx Rich and Linda Richardson of Channelview Tx and James Richardson of Magnolia. Sisters: Mary Dittrich of Schulenburg and Georgia Urban of Houston and a brother L. C. Muras of Houston, Tx eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and friend and special friend, Dolores Youmans.
Mom was raised on the farm near La Grange and attended school in Pine Springs. At a young age she moved to Houston and married R. D. Richardson and raised a family of 4 boys. Two years after her husband died in 1981 she married L. C. Ruscher and moved to Schulenburg. They enjoyed 20 great years together until his death in 2003. She enjoyed her life in Schulenburg and was blessed with good health almost to the end. She always had good neighbors and many friends. Everyone loved Mom, she will be truly missed by all who knew her.
The funeral mass will be held Wednesday at 10am from the St. Rose Catholic Church, in Schulenburg, with the Parish rosary to be recited Tuesday evening at 7pm from the Schwenke-Baumgarten Funeral Chapel, in Schulenburg. Graveside services will be Wednesday afternoon at 3:30pm from the Earthman Resthaven Cemetery, Houston, Tx. Pallbearers are Michael (Tony) Richardson, Brian Richardson, Joe Vasquez, Victor Muras, Tim Jolly and Perry Muras. Bryan C. Klesel
