      Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Kubin, 88, of 2635 Brandon, a resident of Dallas for the last 31 years, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Oak Cliff Presbyterian Church, 300 West 10th.

       

      Mrs. Kubin died Tuesday at her home.  A native of Czechoslovakia, she came to the United States in 1912, at first living in Fort Worth and then Cleburne.  She came to Dallas in 1926.

       

      Her husband, the late Anton Kubin, died in 1933.

       

      Affectionately known as "Grandma" by her friends, Mrs. Kubin was active in the affairs of the Czech Fraternal Lodge in Dallas.  She was a member of the Oak Cliff Presbyterian Church.

       

      She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. R. E. Norton of Dallas, and two granddaughters, four great- grandchildren, in addition to a sister and other relatives in Czechoslovakia.

       

      Burial will be in Cleburne.
