Edwin Fred Krc, 84, of Bryan passed away Monday at his home. He was born October 19, 1922 in Brazos County to Frank and Frances Krc.
Funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. Msgr. John McCaffrey officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be at 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday with a rosary recited at 6 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan.
Mr. Krc served in the U.S. Army during WWII and the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the American Legion Earl Graham Post 159, V.F.W. Post 4692, Disabled American Veterans and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He loved gardening, fishing, hunting and anything to do with outdoors.
He is preceded in death by his son, Edwin Krc Jr., two brothers and five sisters.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Bessie Krc of Bryan; sons and daughters-in-law, Dennis and Helen Krc and Danny and Penny Krc of Bryan; daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Joe Milberger of Caldwell; sister, Annie Regmund of Bryan; sister-in-law, Ann Bomnskie of Bryan; grandchildren, Bobby and Billy Walters, Ryan, Bonnie, and Russell Weber, and four great-grandchildren.
