      SANTA FE - Maria Teresa Hoelscher, 72, of Santa Fe passed away May 10, 2004 at her residence.
       
      She was born April 11, 1932, in Brownsville, Texas to the union of Ambrosio Araujo and Rosa Gomez Arajo. She was a lifetime resident of the Santa Fe area. She was a home maker and a member of the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Hitchcock.
       
      Mrs. Hoelscher is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Horace Oscar Hoelscher, and a daughter, Gloria Moore.
       
      Survivors include her children, Rose Mary and Doyle Miller of Houston, Linda and Herman Mentzel of Santa Fe, George and Debbie Hoelscher of Alvin, and Brenda and Chris Keziah of Santa Fe; grandchildren, Doyle Miller, Jr. of Houston, Mickey Mentzel of Franklin, Kerry and Clint Albrecht of Santa Fe, Terry Mentzel of Santa Fe, Daniel Moore of Sugar Land, Michael Moore of La Porte, Nicholas Hoelscher of Alvin, Nicole Hoelscher of Alvin, Christopher Keziah of Santa Fe, Coby Keziah of Santa Fe; great grand children, Tyler Miller, Tristan Miller, Maddie Miller and Cade Albrecht; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ambrosio and Frances Araujo of Weymouth, Massachusetts, Rudy and Gloria Royal of Alvin; sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty and Kostas Giannoulis of La Marque, Irma and Jackie Adams of Kingwood; sisters-in-law, Cathy Araujo of Alvin, , Angie Araujo Bermudez of Brownsville; brother-in-law Henry Scheu of New York, numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
       
      Memorials may be made in Mrs. Hoelscher honor to the Hospice Care Team, 1708 N. Amburn Rd. Texas City 77591.
       
      Private family services were held Thursday, May 13, 2004, at Oak Park Cemetery with Brother Tom Medlin as officiate, Funeral arrangements under the direction of Froberg Funeral Home in Alvin. Published May 30, 2004
