      ROSEBUD Services for Margaret Hoelscher, 85, of Westphalia are 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Church of the Visitation in Westphalia with the Rev. Walter Dhanwar officiating. Burial is in St. Marys Cemetery in Westphalia. Mrs. Hoelscher died Sunday, Jan. 16, at her residence.
       
      She was born Feb. 21, 1925, in Westphalia to Andrew and Mary Schilling Stermer. She lived in Westphalia all her life, graduated from Rosebud High School and married Leonard Hoelscher on Sept. 17, 1946.
       
      She worked in the cafeteria at Rosebud-Lott ISD and Westphalia ISD. She also was a school bus driver for Rosebud-Lott ISD. She was honored by Rosebud-Lott High School as a Lifetime Band Booster and in 2009 was awarded the Rosebud High School Outstanding Alumnus Award. She was a member of the Church of the Visitation and the altar society. She was a member of the Westphalia Historical Society from its inception.
       
      She was preceded in death by her husband on Dec. 12, 1986, and by a son, Bede Hoelscher, on Jan. 6, 1980.
       
      Survivors include six sons, Crispin Hoelscher and Reuel Hoelscher, both of Round Rock, Finian Hoelscher and Matt Hoelscher, both of Temple, Lenny Hoelscher of Belton and Warren Hoelscher of Zabcikville; two daughters, Tabitha James of Waco and Caroline Hoelscher of Cyclone; a brother, Ben Stermer of Temple; 38 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
       
      Memorials may be made to the Westphalia Historical Society or Celebration Park in Westphalia, 16298 FM 2904, Temple, TX 76501.
       
      Cook-Gerngross-Green-Patterson Funeral Home in Rosebud is in charge of arrangements.
       
      Visitation is 68 p.m. today in the Church of the Visitation in Westphalia with a rosary recited at 7 p.m.
