      Funeral services for Mrs. Opal Quinn Batla, 36, 4207 Bute, Houston, sister of F. B. Quinn, 501 North Boulevard Drive, Galveston, who died at 12:55 p.m. Wednesday in a Houston hospital, were held at the Fogle-West funeral chapel, Houston, at 3 p.m. yesterday.  Rev. Vaughn Reifel officiated.  Interment was in Brookside Memorial Park. 
       
      Active pallbearers were:  R. H. Hyurdle, E. H. Leonard, Sidney Carrington, M. G. Earley, Felix Harris, Howard Best, D. H. Hudson and Paul Fuller.  Honorary pallbearers were A. H. Ainsworth, Dean French, Hal Gantt, T. P. Benson, Ted Bowman, E. Russell, Boyd Mullins and R. A. Newman.
       
      Mrs. Batla, a resident of Houston for ten years, is also survived by:  Her husband, J. A. Batla; a daughter, Mary Jo Batla; a son, Charles Glynn Batla; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Batla; and another brother, H. C. Quinn, all of Houston.
