      BALLINGER -- Mrs. Otto (Frances) Bubenik, 88 of Veribest died at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Leisure Lodge Nursing home in San Angelo.  Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Ambrose Catholic Church.
       
      Burial will be in St. Ambrose Cemetery in Wall.
       
      Born Frances Strakos, March 9, 1888, in Czechoslovakia, she lived in Veribest 65 years.  She married Otto Bubenik Dec. 26, 1907, in Olfen.  She was a member of the Catholic Church.  Mr. Bubenik died Nov. 22, 1976.
       
      Survivors include four sons, John of San Angelo, Albert and Eddie both of Wall, and Julius of Houston; three daughters, Mrs. Walter Braden and Mrs. F. J. Havlak, both of Wall and Lillian Pechacek of Corpus Christi; two brothers, Adolf Strakos of Jourdanton and Luddie Strakos of Rowena; three sisters, Millie Pustka of San Angelo, Theresa Rechnicky of Ballinger and Julie Polunski of San Antonio; 19 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.
       
      Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
