      PORT LAVACA -- Frank Bordosky, 78, prominent Port Lavaca businessman, died Friday at 5:45 p.m. in a local hospital following an extended illness.
       
      Funeral services are pending at Richardson Funeral Home.
       
      Mr. Bordosky, a 62-year resident, opened his own business here in 1932, operating it under his name for 39 years.  Prior to opening his own business he was employed by Ed Melcher Co. for over a decade.
       
      He was born Jan. 7, 1895, in La Grange, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bordosky.  He came to Port Lavaca in 1910 from La Grange.  He was a member of First United Methodist Church.
       
      Survivors include two sons, Claiborn and Basil, both of Port Lavaca; a brother, Emmitt of La Ward; six sisters, Mrs. Pauline Farek of Seguin, Mrs. Agnes Key of Victoria, Mrs. John Koslah of Port Lavaca, Mrs. Esther Marek of Placedo, Mrs. Joe Kover [Kovar?] of Taylor and Mrs. Mary Kover of Houston.
