GALVESTON MAN IS KILLED BY SHOOTER

GALVESTON, Tex., Oct. 4 -- A stray bullet from the gun of a youth yesterday afernoon about 1:30 o'clock went through a window and killed Frank Chytka, 25, who was sitting at a table in his home with his back towards the window.

The boy, Richard Osborne, 15, in a statement to County Attorney Ralph Crawford, said that he was practicing with his .22-caliber rifle and had a piece of tin as a target.  He did not know until some time later that the man had been shot.  The bullet passed through the tin and through the shutters of the window and entered Chytka's back while he was eating his dinner.
