Obit: Henry Roy Rychlik, Sr.
- RYCHLIK HENRY ROY Sr., of Scurry, was born in the Talty community on March
30,1921 to Frank and Rosie Rychlik. He passed away in Dallas on Feb. 23,
2001. Henry was raised in Talty and served in the U. S. Army during WW II
with the 82nd Airborne Division in the European Theater and retired from
Vought Corp. after 33 years. Henry moved to Scurry in 1952 where he was a
rancher. He married Dorothy Tallas in Kaufman on Sept. 8, 1945 and he is
survived by his wife: Dorothy of Scurry, son: Henry Roy Rychlik Jr. and his
wife, Ruby of Scurry, daughters: Joanna Ware and her husband, Steve of
Friendswood, TX and Judy Pugh and her husband, Charles of Scurry, brothers:
Bill Rychlik of Arlington and Johnny Rychlik of Washington, sister: Mary
Bedrick of Kaufman, grandchildren: Candice, Natalie, Grant, Colin, Crystal,
Austin and Jonathan. Rosary will be recited Sun. Feb. 25, 2001 at 7:00 P. M.
at Parker-Ashwortb Chapel and Christian Mass will be Mon. Feb. 26, 2001 at
10:00 A. M. at St. Ann Catholic Church with Rev. Joseph A. Mehan Jr.
