      Deceased Name: Lawrence "L..J." Dvorak

      ARLINGTON - Lawrence "L.J." Dvorak, 71, a beloved and caring father, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2006, in Arlington.

      Memorial service: 1 p.m. Thursday, Moore Bowen Road Chapel. Burial: 3 p.m. in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.

      L.J. was born in Ross on May 8, 1935. He proudly served in the Air Force as a fireman and was a veteran of the Korean War era. Known to close family members and friends as "Poppa D," he was a lover of fishing, hunting and target shooting. L.J. had a passion for restoring classic automobiles, for making wine and beer and enjoyed a good Western book to fall asleep with. He was loved and will be missed by all who knew him.

      Lawrence was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Marie Hrabal Dvorak.

      Survivors: Sons, Steven, Craig and Ryan Dvorak; former wife, Michele Nead-Dvorak; brothers, Jimmie and Raymond Dvorak; niece, Reve Faris and her daughters, Remy, Alexa and Brielle; nephew, Reed Dvorak and his sons, Evan, Samuel and Grayson.
