      GALVESTON -- Mary Dusek Cordray, 90, passed away February 28, 1998 at University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston.
      A funeral Mass will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday March 3, 1998 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Fr. Page E. Polk O.F.M. officiating.  Rite of Committal will follow services at Galveston Memorial Park Cemetery, Hitchcock Texas.
      Visitation will be after 5 p.m. Monday, March 2, 1998 at Malloy & Son Funeral Home.  A vigil for the deceased and the Rosary will be offered by Deacon Tom Hunter at 7 p.m. Monday.
      Mary was born August 27, 1907 and was a native of Galveston.  She graduated from Ball High School in 1925.
      She belonged to the following organizations both past and present:  St. Patrick's Altar Society; Household of Martha (charter member); Catholic Daughters (past officer); AARP; SPJST Lodge No. 172; Catholic Lay Women's Retreat Association (past president); Galveston Unit of National Council of Catholic Women (past president); Davy Crockett School Auxiliary (charter member); Kirwin High School Auxiliary (past president).  Mary also was a volunteer in numerous other charitable organizations such as:  American Cancer Society, Leukemia Society, St. Mary's Orphanage, and the Community Chest.  She held the position of Librarian at St. Mary's School of Nursing, Secretary at Kirwin High School, and Secretary at Galveston Independent School District.
      She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas J. Cordray Jr.; mother and father, Peregrina and Adolf Dusek; brother, Adolph J. Dusek; and grandson Glen Thomas lewis.
      Survivors include one daughter, Mary Cordray O'Rear and husband William C. of Houston, Texas; two sons, Thomas J. Cordray III and wife, Alice Joyce of Roseville, California and Emil J. Cordray of Galveston; grandchildren, Philip R. Lewis and wife, Jennifer of League City, Texas, Jean M. Fullen and husband, Bill of Galveston, Texas, Catherine A. Sutherland and husband, James of San Antonio, Texas; Carolyn J. Denten of Fair Oaks, California, Thomas J. Cordray IV of Carmichael, California, Robert F. Cordray and wife, Vicki of Galt, California, James J. Cordray and wife, Louise of Sacramento, California and Michael A. Cordray of Galveston, Texas; great-grandchildren, Natalie Ann, Elizabeth Lauren and Valerie Jean Fullen of Galveston, Texas, Emily Michele Lewis of League City, Texas, Jason and Travis Denton of Fair Oaks, California and Robert F. Cordray Jr. of GTalt, California; sisters, Helen A. Coroneos of Galveston and Annie Ruth Kennedy of Dallas, Texas; numerous nieces and nephews, extrended families of Emily Satterly and the late Alice Louise Finn and Edith C. Heuman.
      Pallbearers will be Philip R. Lewis, Michael A. Cordray, Thomas J. Cordray IV, Robert F. Cordray, James J. Cordray and Bill H. Fullen Jr.
      Honorary pallbearer James P. Sutherland.
      In lieu of floral remembrances, donations may be made to the restoration fund of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 1010 35th St., Galveston, Texas.
