      HALLETTSVILLE, Feb. 28.-- Memorial services were held at the Sacred Heart Church Monday for Pfc. Arthur Louis Buss, 31, who was killed in line of duty on the North African front recently.  He leaves his widow, the former Miss Annie Fikac; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Buss, his aged grandmother and one sister.  He enlisted in June, 1942, and was sent overseas three months ago.

      HALLETTSVILLE, March 15.  Military services for Pfc. Arthur L. Buss, 30, who was killed in North Africa Feb. 14, 1943, were held today following 9:30 a.m. requiem mass at Sacred Heart church.
       
      Buss was married to the former Miss Annie Fikac, now Mrs. Donald L. Smith, San Antonio.
       
      Survivors include his mother, Mrs. John E. Buss; four brothers, Carl, Herbert and Alfred, Hallettsville, and Everett, Highlands and a sister, Mrs. Anton Michna, Fayetteville.
