obit: Evelyn Holubec Lenz
- Evelyn Lenz, 79, of Bryan, passed away Sunday, February 14, at St. Joseph Regional Health Center in Bryan.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, February 17, at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan. A rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Funeral
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, February 18, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bryan, with the Reverend Monsignor John McCaffrey officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
Evelyn enjoyed life to the fullest, always with a smile on her face. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother and, she was always there for her family. She especially enjoyed cooking, fishing, and gardening. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ollie Tom Lenz; her brother, Albin Holubec; and her sisters, Hattie Kristynik and Victoria Stevener.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Tommy and Joni Lenz, of Bryan; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Gail Lenz, Alecia and Ronnie Arnold, and Debra and Dana Russell all of Bryan; five grandchildren, Don Lenz, Andrew Lenz, Dwayne Russell, Clif Arnold, Carrie McGovern and her husband, Bubba; four great-grandchildren, Layten Arnold, Coltin Russell, Kyle McGovern, and Hillary McGovern.
Memorials may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church.
