Frances L. Horcica, 98, of Caldwell, passed away Thursday, March 25, 2010 at St. Joseph Regional Health Center in Bryan.
Services are set for 10 a.m. Monday, March 29, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Caldwell with Rev. Rudy Junek and Rev. John Gantt officiating. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday, at the funeral home with a 7 p.m. prayer service. Interment will be in New Tabor Cemetery.
Mrs. Horcica retired from Allenco in Bryan after 25 years of service. She attended Hope Evangelical Free Church and enjoyed gardening, flowers and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Henry Horcica; her parents, Joe and Emilie Orsak Paul; a brother, Joe Paul, Jr.; sisters, Pauline Dobrovolny and Bernice Surovik; and three infant siblings Adela, Rosile and Clarise.
Survivors include her two sons and daughters-in-law, Hubert and Billie Jean Horcica of College Station and Daniel and Cynthia Horcica of Grand Prarie; a daughter and son-in-law, Florice and Arnold Tydlacka of Dime Box; sisters, Vlasta Marburger, Olga Provazek and Julia Bayer all of Caldwell and Ella Provazek of Bryan; nine grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be David Sherrill, Bobby Adcock, Patrick Tydlacka, Ronnie Horcica, Michael Horcica and Lonnie Mikulec.
Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home of Caldwell is in charge of arrangements.
