      Mrs. Frances Holub, 79, native of Czecho-Slovakia, died at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Harry McCarthy, 3916 R 1/2, yesterday.  Born March 17, 1867, Mrs. Holub was a resident of Galveston for the past four years and a member of Catholic KJZT Lodge of Wallis, Tex.
       
      In addition to Mrs. McCarthy, she is survived by:  Two other daughters, Mrs. Emilie M. Sudela, Galveston, and Mrs. Mary A. Barta, Wallis; three sons, Vinc L. Holub, Brenham, Peter F. Holub, and Frank L. Holub, both of Wallis; a sister, Mrs. Peter Kuhanek, Fayetteville, Texas.; a brother, Emil Bushek, Yoakum; nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
       
      The body was taken overland yesterday by Malloy & Son funeral home for services and interment under the direction of Knezek funeral home in Wallis.
       
      Funeral services will be held this morning at 9:30 o'clock at the Knesek funeral home at Wallis and at Guardian Angel Church for requiem mass.  Rev. L. Nesvadba, will officiate and interment will be in Guardian Angel Cemetery.
