Frank Holik, 74, of Monaville, died Friday evening
at 5 p.m. He was born in Austin county and moved to Waller county as a
young man, and followed farming and cattle raising as an occupation. He
served as county commissioner for several terms, and always took an interest in

Mr. Holik is survived by his widow, Mrs. Rosa
Holik; three daughters, Mrs. Olga Kolija, Mrs. Vlasta Stefka and Mrs. Gardina
Schmidt, all of Waller county, and one son, Edward F. Holik, of the police force
of Houston. Pallbearers were: Dick Cuny, J. H. Day, J. H. Schmidt,
A. B. Anderson, Otis Carlisle and Mr. Brignance.
Tom Cuny directed the funeral.
