      GONZALES -- Mrs. Frances Hrbacek, 87, of Gonzales died Tuesday at 6:35 a.m. in Holmes Memorial Hospital following an extended illness.
       
      She was born June 19, in Czechoslovakia, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joe Knatek.  She had lived here 18 years, coming from Floresville.  She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
       
      Rosary will be recited Wednesday at 8 p.m. at the Seyler Funeral Home.
       
      Requiem mass will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with the Rev. Anthony Elsing officiating.
       
      Burial will be in Gonzales Cemetery under the direction of Seyler Funeral Home.
       
      Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Julie Hosek of Falls City; four sons, Emil of Gonzales, Willie of Floresville, Robert of La Porte, and Ben of Port Lavaca; and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
