      LEAGUE CITY -- Mass for Fred G. Hruby, 67, of League City, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in League City with the Rev. Elmer Quinters officiating.  Burial will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Dickinson.
       
      A rosary will be said at 7:30 tonight at the Jack Rowe Funeral Home Chapel in League City.
       
      Hruby died Wednesday night at Clear Lake Hospital.  He was born Nov. 7, 1907 and was an operator for Monsanto.  He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and of the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local No. 347 of Texas City.  He was a resident of League City for 20 years.
       
      Survivors include his wife, Bessie Hruby of League City; a son, Lt. Col. Robert Hruby, Grand Forks Air Force Base, N.D.; two daughters, Mrs. Rosalee Muehr, League City and Mrs. Rita Campbell, Spring Branch; two brothers, Ed and Adolph Hruby, Baytown; a sister, Mrs. J. C. Hlavinia, East Bernard, Tex. and 15 grandchildren.
       
      Pallbearers will be Joe Lonsford, Joe Dillon, Val Bolton, Norrell Cappell, Gene Platt, Ernie Schaper, Don Thomas, Jim Drake and Bob Nelson.
       
      Friends may call at the funeral home after 1 p.m. today.
