      Services will be held at 9:45 a.m. Monday at Earthman Highlands Funeral Home Chapel for Emil Adolph Jaks Sr., 53, of 114 Riedland Road, Crosby.  A second service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Jude's Catholic Church, with the Rev. Maurice Dho officiating.
       
      He died Friday in a Dayton hospital.  A Crosby resident for 19 years, he was a labor foreman for Harris County and was a veteran of World War II.
       
      Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Emily Chandler of Highlands; two sons, Emil Jaks Jr. of Crosby and Edward Jaks of Crosby; his mother Mrs. Pauline Jaks of Houston; a brother, Richard Jaks of El Campo; two sisters, Miss Virginia Jaks of El Campo and Miss Elizabeth Jacks of Houston.  Also surviving is a grandson, Clint Chandler of Highlands.
       
      A rosary will be held at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at Earthman Highlands Chapel.  Interment will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery of Houston.  Pallbearers will be Bill Henry, Melvin Clark, A.E. Lane, Bennie Troppy, Tom King and A.P. Lowrey.
