The funeral mass for Alan Gilbert Kaliszeski, of Damon, Texas, will be
celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 21, 2007, at Sts. Cyril and Methodius
Catholic Church in Damon with the Rev. James Ramsey as celebrant. Burial will
follow in the church cemetery. Friends are welcome from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, March
20, 2007, at the Garmany & Carden Funeral Chapel in Needville. The rosary
will be recited at 7:00.m. Tuesday evening. Alan died Friday, March 16, 2007, at
his home in Damon.
He was born April 17, 1957, in Bay City. Texas. He worked as a farmer and
was also a musician who enjoyed playing in the Texas Plainsman Band.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Charles Kaliszeski and Rosalie
Wleczyk-Kaliszeski of Damon. He is survived by his sister, Karen Kaliszeski-Rose
and husband, David Rose; nephew, Carson Rose and niece, Madison Rose, all of El
Campo; and numerous cousins and friends.
