Funeral services for Mrs. Frank Klima Sr., 70, of Houston were held Thursday morning, Feb. 19, at St. Rose of Lima Church there, with burial in Brooks Heights Cemetery.  The Revs. Welch and Starke officiated.

Mrs. Klima, mother of Frank Klima Jr. of Weimar, died Tuesday evening, Feb. 17, in Heights Hospital, where she had been under treatment three days after suffering a heart attack.

The former Miss Anna Peck, she was born Dec. 14, 1889, in Czechoslovakia, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Peck.  She was married in 1911 to Frank Klima Sr., and they emigrated to the United States in 1912, first settling in Duval County and later moving to Bee County, the Rio Grande Valley, and in 1931 to Houston.  Mr. Klima died 18 months ago.

Surviving in addition to her son here are another son, George of Texas City; two daughters, Mrs. Eva Dobrava and Mrs. J.C. Smith of Houston; and a sister, Miss Caroline Peck of Houston.  One daughter died about 15 years ago.
