      GALVESTON -- Felix Korenek, age 82, passed away Saturday, February 15, 2003, at Gulf Health Care.  he was born on October 7, 1920, in La Grange, Texas.  He was retired from the Southern Pacific Railroad in which he worked as an agent/operator.  Mr. Korenek was also in the Army Air Force during WWII.
       
      He was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Agnes Korenek; his son Stephen Korenek; brothers George Korenek and Henry Korenek; and sister Frances Hastings.
       
      He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Florence Korenek; son Felix C. Korenek, Jr.; daughter Patricia Martin; brothers Leon Korenek, Frank Korenek and John Korenek; sister Gladys Winkler; stepsons Raymond Falks and his wife Wanda and Ernest Falks and his wife Annette; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
       
      Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 18, 2003, at J. Levy & Bro. Funeral Home from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. with a Rosary beginning at 7 p.m., Deacon John Pistone officiating.  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 19, 2003, at 10 a.m. at J. Levy & Bro. Funeral Home, with Father John Bok officiating.  Interment will follow at Grace Memorial Park Cemetery in Hitchcock, Texas.
       
      Pallbearers will be Kenneth Korenek, Michael Korenek, George Korenek, Jr., Scott Korenek, Gary Korenek, Jay Gebauer and Timothy Gebauer.
