      Mrs. Mary V. Kovar, 64, mother of Mrs. Janie Orsak and sister of Mrs. Tony Janecka of Victoria, died in a Ganado hospital at 12:10 p.m. Saturday.
       
      A native of lavaca County, Mrs. Kovar was a daughter of the late John Holy and Vera Hnatek Holy and had lived in Port Lavaca before moving to Ganado.  She was a member of the Lutheran Church.
       
      Funeral services will be conducted by the Rev. H.E. Beseda Sr. of Caldwell at 3 p.m. Monday at McCabe-Carruth Chapel.  Burial will be in Shillerville Cemetery.
       
      Besides Mrs. Kovar's Victoria relatives, she is survived by her husband, John J. Kovar, and son, Willie, both of Ganado; four other sisters, Mrs. Annie Charbula of Inez, Mrs. Frances Hengst of Marlin, Mrs. Julia Lala of Placedo and Mrs. Gusta Repka of Inez; three brothers, Emil Holy of Ganado, Louis Holy of Victoria County and Edward Holy of Eureka, Calif., and five grandchildren.
