Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth McDonald attended the funeral services in Caldwell on Thursday for her grandmother, Mrs. Josephine Krenek.

Mrs. Krenek had attended church services in Brookshire on Christmas Day and had Christmas dinner with her granddaughter and family.  In the evening she returned to her home in Waller with Mr. and Mrs. Ed Rochen, her daughter and husband, with whom she had been living for the past five years.

Her daughter in Caldwell came for her last Monday.  She passed away there suddenly on Tuesday as she sat at the dinner table.  She was 83 years of age.

She leaves 11 living children, 36 grandchildren, including Mrs. Kenneth McDonald, Mrs. Alton Neuman, and Albin Rochen, and 18 great-grandchildren, including the McDonald boys, Ray and Wayne and the Neuman youngsters, Marie Annette and Charles Alton.

Mrs. Krenek, who was a native of Caldwell, had attended Sacred Heart Church in Brookshire many times in the past few years.
