      VIOLA ANN KREJCI COX, 81, passed to heaven on September 1, 2004. Viola lived her life as a woman of excellence, a wife, mother, grandmother, friend, and caregiver to all who knew and loved her.
       
      She was a member of the SPJST Czech Lodge 88 for 45 years and served as 2nd Vice President, Board of Directors, Treasurer, Parlimentarian, and on Remunerations. As Entertainment Chairmen for 30 years with Harley, her husband of 50 years, they brought many famous Big Bands to the Chandelier Ballroom. She was honored with the 2004 SPJST Lifetime Achiever Award. A long-time member of Oaks Presbyterian Church, Viola was blessed by the minister, John Hirling, members, Care Committee and friends Lloyd Gee, Garland Goodrum, Leon Seeman, who spent many hours helping family take her for medical care. The family wishes to express deep gratitude to Dr. Madeline Duvic and her entire staff at MD Anderson for their loving and consistent care of our mother.
       
      Viola was an Accountant by profession and an elegant lady who was a 10-year Mary Kay Beauty Consultant, representing 3 generations with her daughter, Bonnie, granddaughter, Katherine, and niece, Jeannie.. Viola is survived by daughter, Bonnie Cox Hill and husband Kevan, son Don Cox and wife Gina, five grandchildren, Katherine, Cayla, Cody, Conner, Courtney, nieces, Jeannette Helmcamp Eubank, Mary Jo Mahan, and Faydeen Doyen.
       
      Services at 11 a.m. September 4 in Pat Foley Chapel, 1200 W. 34th, officiated by Reverends Fred Hill and John Hirling. Internment following at Memorial Oaks Cemetery and lunch at SPJST Lodge 88, 1435 Beall St. Visitation at Pat Foley Friday, Sept. 3 from 6 to 8 p.m. Pallbearers are Phillip Mahan, Ron Braikovich, Joe Hochman, Brooks Eubank, Burl Richardson, David Brown. Honorary Pallbearers are Lloyd Gee, Garland Goodrum, Leland Hensley, Charles Hodek, Andre Sitbon, Mike Smith, Frank Suler. Donations can be made to the Cutaneous T-Cell Lymphoma research fund at MD Anderson, c/o Madeline Duvic.
