Deceased Name: IRENE KRAMPOTA HIBBSIrene Krampota Hibbs, age 61, of Bastrop, died at 12:20 a.m.Sunday, July 23, 1995.Irene was born November 3, 1933, in Holland, Texas, the daughter of Henry V. Krampota, Sr. and Ida Schirpik Krampota. Irene became a Christian along with her husband in 1957 and was baptized in the Church of Christ. She was a member of the Bastrop Church of Christ for several years.She was preceded in death by her only son, James Wayne Hibbs; a brother, Henry V. Krampota, Jr.; her parents, Henry V. Krampota, Sr. and Ida Krampota Urban.Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Milford James Hibbs of Bastrop; a daughter-in-law, Cindy Hibbs Wilson of McDade; a sister, LaVerne Johnston of Webberville; a brother and sister-in-law, Jody William and Mary Krampota of Austin; sisters-in-law, Veda Hibbs Justice and husband, Pete Justice of Austin, Glen Rose Wolf of Austin, Ada Lou Fleming and husband, James, of Manchaca; and brother-in-law, Dempsey Hibbs of Rockport; and a host of nieces and nephews.The family will receive friends at Marrs-Jones-Newby Funeral Home in Bastrop from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, July 24, 1995.Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 25, 1995, in Young'sPrairie Cemetery on FM 1704.Pallbearers will be Ray Johnston, Jody Krampota, Jr., Garry Fleming, Ray Wolf, David Hibbs and Brandon Wilson.Honorary pallbearers will be theElgin High School Class of 1967, including Freddie Wilson, Richard Guenther, Bob Carter and Jerry Sanchez.Marrs-Jones-Newby Funeral Home, Bastrop.
