      YOAKUM -- Anton F. Lahodny, 77, native of Flatonia and former resident of Shiner, died late Friday night in a Victoria hospital.
       
      He was born March 7, 1898, and was a farmer and rancher.
       
      Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Sunday at Buffington Funeral Home Chapel.
       
      Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Ann's Catholic Church near Yoakum with the Rev. E.McKenna officiating.  Burial will be in Shiner Catholic Cemetery.
       
      Survivors include his wife, Annie of Victoria; five sons, Joe A. of Hochheim, James J. of Yoakum, Frank B. and Edwin F. Lahodny, both of Houston, and Tonie of Victoria; two daughters, Mrs. Edward J. Opella and Miss Marie A. Lahodny, both of Victoria; a brother, Emil J. Lahodny of Shiner; four sisters, Miss Marie E. Lahodny, Mrs. John Veit and Mrs. Dan Roznovsky, all of Shiner, and Mrs. Anton Pavlu of Victoria; and 11 grandchildren.
