      SNYDER -- Mrs. Maybelle Smith Lacik, 70, died at 6:05 p.m. Friday in Hendrick Memorial Hospital, Abilene, after a short illness.  She had been a resident of Snyder for eight years.
       
      Funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in First Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. John A. Ganton officiating.  Graveside rites will be at 5:30 p.m. Monday in Mangum Okla. under direction of Bell Funeral Home of Snyder.
       
      Born Aug. 18, 1893, in Mount Ida, Ark., she was a member of the First Presbyterian Church here.
       
      Surviving are a son, Harold A. Snyder; two sisters, Mrs. Ivory Hopkins of Houston and Mrs. Grace Cargal of Blair, Okla.; a brother, Harold Smith of Mangum Okla., and two grandchildren.
       
      Pallbearers will be George Lowe, Harry Reed, V.V. Shearburn, Ray Devers, Bill Atwood, R.E. Patterson.  In rites at Mangum, nephews will serve as pallbearers.
