      SAN MARCOS, Texas -- Leonard Matocha, former Southwest Texas State offensive tackle and a member of the school's 1981 NCAA Division II national championship team, has died of cancer at age 26.
       
      Matocha, a 6-foot-4, 284-pounder from La Grange, died Sunday at M.D. Anderson Hospital in Houston.
       
      He was a member of the 1981 Southwest Texas State squad that posted a 13-1 record under former SWT and now Texas Christian coach Jim Wacker.  Matocha lettered in 1981, 1983 and 1984, was a member of the 1981 Lone Star Conference All-Academic team and the 1984 Gulf Star Conference All-Academic team.
       
      In 1982, he diagnosed as suffering from Hodgkin's Disease, a form of cancer, after suffering a rib injury.
