SHINER -- An autopsy report on the death of John V.
Nerada, 47, of Shiner is expected Wednesday, Justice of the Peace Jimmy
Chotenovsky said Tuesday.
Nerada was pronounced dead at a Shiner hospital
Monday after he had been found lying near a hole where he had been repairing a
gas lead on a service line to a residence.
Nerada, an employe of Arkansas Louisiana Gas Co.,
was first seen by two children.
The autopsy was ordered by Cholenovsky. It
was performed at a Victoria hospital Monday night.
Clyde Rutledge, company manager, said Nerada has
been an employe of the gas company since June, 1948. he formerly resided
in Yoakum, but had lived in Shiner for seven years.
Nerada, was born in Moulton Oct. 28, 1921, son of
Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Nerada.
Services will be conducted at Buffington Funeral
Home at _ p.m. Wednesday and at Sts. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church at 1:30
p.m. The Rev. Louis Fritz will officiate. Burial will be in the
